So did the enterprising, successful journey of M/s Vidhani Tex (P) Ltd., a pioneer and leading manufacturer of cotton socks in India.
This story began in 1986 when Vidhaan Socks swept India with its stylishly designed, state-of-the-art range of cotton socks. Vidhaan Socks were also the first to introduce “Cotton Cushioned Absorbent Socks” in India, with its vibrant colours and soothing comfort. Vidhaan socks captured the hearts and feet of millions of Indians.

Indeed, our 4-force policy has played a key role in our growth and success. Over the years, M/s Vidhani Tex (P) Ltd has been manufacturing all types of socks: for men, women and children, using only the finest quality cotton yarn blended with the good qualities of nylon and spandex, to enhance the comfort and durability of its products. In the year 2010-11 itself we sold over three million pairs of socks.
Our state-of-the art manufacturing plant, choice of yarns and stringent quality checks have enabled us to leave our footprints right across the Indian landscape, with the Vidhaan name emblazoned on the feet of millions of Indians today.
The first sock:
Let us step back into the early eighties - "This was a time when no company manufactured cotton socks. Nylon was the order of the day. Undeterred, a band of dedicated and visionary entrepreneurs at Vidhani Tex set out to fashion pairs of soft cotton cushioned socks. At first, they were turned down by retailers, channel partners and banks. Yet, they marched on with confidence and a steely determination, as they understood that cotton socks was the road to the future. Thus, they went ahead and set up India’s first cotton socks manufacturing and retailing business." Since then, the Company has journeyed its way successfully to the top.
